Golden Gate Bridge in Fog |
Thank you for all your wishes, prayers, and good thoughts for
my mother. Her femur is healing beautifully, but unfortunately her mind is on vacation for the time being. She lives next door to my sister now, on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, where she receives 24-hour care.
I don't have the bandwidth to resume blogging, but
Pinterest keeps my creative juices flowing, even if only for five minutes a day. I hope to return to blogging here in the new year.
Take care! Pinterest is a fun place to keep the creative juices flowing.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your mom's femur is healing beautifully, DB, but so sorry her mind is on vacation. (sigh) Small pleasures remain in those five minutes a day!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad your mom is doing okay.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are taking some time for you, even if it's only five mintes at a time.
xo.
I was so great to meet you in New Orleans. I am happy your mother’s injury is healing and sorry about the rest of her illness – it is not easy sometimes to mend completely. I am still thinking about SF but we had to have a brand new air cond/heating system installed today and need a new water heater, so that is making a hole in the budget. We’ll see…
ReplyDeleteI miss you, friend I am thinking about you and praying for you and Oma and everyone who loves her.
ReplyDeleteYou are where you are needed. Your creativeness is missed. STUNNING photograph - looks like you see beauty wherever you go.
ReplyDeleteMiss you, friend.
ReplyDeleteI wish your mother a quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
I miss you, dear heart. Call me if you need to talk. Please do.
ReplyDeleteHi Friend,
ReplyDeleteI mentioned you on my blog a moment ago~~
Hope your day is a good one!!
Yeah for Pinterest!!

ReplyDeleteGWS to your mom and thats a nice pic!
ReplyDeleteDo stop by my blog! I'd love your comments & visits!!
Oh, friend. I do miss you.
ReplyDeleteThank you to all of you for your concern and prayers. My mother's surgery was a success and she's becoming more comfortable in her new home every day.
ReplyDeleteI hope to be back here in the new year!
Thinking of you and wishing you and your mum the very best. Hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteI will miss you, friend. I think of our too-short time together with smiles each time summer rolls around. And, I wish we could do it all again.
ReplyDeleteHello Yoli and Relyn,
ReplyDeleteThank you both for your continued concern and wishes. My mom's doing very well and enjoying next door to my sister, along the water in Larkspur, CA. I am quite busy because I now manage my mother's apartment building in San Francisco. I do hope to return to blogging one day, but I don't have exact plans right now.
I do wish you would come back, my friend. I miss you here. Too many people are leaving this happy camp we created.
ReplyDeleteI hope your mother is well. ...Nice photograph.
ReplyDeleteI think that I see it!
