Does that mean it was a nail-biter, DB?? The Phew part, that is?

It looks like a wonderful park! Ours around here was just terrible, and we have no scoreboard like yours!

Echoing Ginnie's question here.

It also looks like it might have been HOT.

Dear melissashook,
I hope tofu will help with your protein intake so that you can be on the mend very soon!

Dear Ginnie,
We were thoroughly enjoying ourselves with a comfortable 6 point lead until the Brewers scored one in the sixth inning and continued to score and score and score... ay caramba! Sanchez pitched eleven strikeouts before he was swapped out and the coaches decided to give some more minor players a turn on the mound.

Nailbiter? Let's just say we sat up and took notice.

Dear Mumsy,
The San Francisco Giants' ballpark in Scottsdale used to be my favorite spring training park but when I stepped into this beautiful stadium, I had to rethink this. The Milwaukee Brewer's Maryvale Park was comfortable, clean, with plenty of shade, and of course great sausages.

Dear Ruth,
Yes, the last inning in particular became quite exciting, but the game mercifully ended with the San Francisco Giants winning 8-6.

It was not as hot as it might have looked. This day was the hottest of our three-day stay with temps hovering between the high 70's and the low 80's. A touch of breeze came through the last couple of innings. I love the desert in March!
