Gorgeous arrangements!
Now were you in Portland recently at the Chinese Gardens? I hope if it was you, you had a wonderful time. I love visiting there and do so regularly with my membership, just for an hour reprieve from the day.

Just a fast hello, Dutchbaby....
I think that going to Taliesin with your daughter must have been such a good trip... and those strange vases of flowers arranged with the formal chairs in this posting...
thank you...

Dear Susan,
These are not my flowers, they are Ken Marten's. You can decide whether you still want me to do your next wedding after you see my next posts.

Dear Mumsy,
I agree, flowers and furniture are both luscious!

Dear Marilyn,
I agree - that Ken Marten is quite the artist.

Yes that was me at the Chinese Gardens. I'm sorry I didn't have my act enough together to contact you. It was a bit of a last-minute decision to extend my trip to Portland. Next time I have the chance, I will definitely give you a jingle. It would be great to meet you.

Dear melissashook,
Our trip to Scottsdale was perfection, especially because my daughter did all the planning and made all the arrangements.

European floristry truly does take a little getting used to. I happen to love those strange vases with the bouquets appearing to float in mid-air.

I think choosing vessels for flowers and plants is as much fun as choosing the flowers. These are so unusual and wonderful.

Dear Ruth,
I agree wholeheartedly. The containers often start the creative process. Storing these oversized champagne flutes would be a bear but I would sure love to try!
