We gained an extra hour today. I lingered in bed an extra long time and read another couple of chapters of “The Maltese Falcon”. I might take an extra long walk today, maybe take the camera along. I usually like to spend that extra hour five times over, doing things for me. Maybe we should always pretend we have an extra hour so that we will do more things for ourselves.
How are you spending your extra hour?

Ugh. My hour is gone.
Although what I liked most was waking up at my regular time (which even on a weekend is the time I get up for work, just can't help it), playing with some photos for a while, and then going back to sleep.
I just wish I had an extra day instead of an extra hour.
I was planning on spending it sleeping, but I had a six year old who has a way of changing most of me sleeping-in plans. So, I spent mine snuggling, story telling and then making french toast for breakfast. Not a bad way to spend an hour, really.
Hey tangobaby,
Funny how elastic hours are - the last hour of a workday is the longest and an hour of playing is the shortest. You may have an extra day during the next leap year. Let's plan a fun day!
Hello relyn,
Sounds like a nice day to spend an hour. I bet your french toast is delicious!
Once a neighbor told me that when your kids become teenagers and start to sleep in, you will have forgotten how to sleep in. I didn't believe it, but guess what? She was right! I really don't mind though, I like having the extra time in the morning.
