Ice Art by Margaret Oomen

With so much snow and ice covering our country right now, I would like to share some creative ideas by Margaret Oomen at Resurrection Fern . She truly knows how to embrace the cold weather. She used a bundt cake pan to create the ice wreath above. What a great way to greet your Christmas guests! Add a small bird's nest to create a lovely outdoor vignette:

Instructions on how to make one of your own are here.
Pinecones suspended in ice create a warm glow by the fireplace:

The doily ice ornaments make great outdoor Christmas decorations:

They even know how to dance:

Thank you for your inspiration, Margie!

That's a pretty cool idea! My mom makes fruit filled ice rings for punch bowls. Very pretty with the pine cones and doilies.

Dear Jemm,
Fruit ice rings sounds beautiful and nutritious. I bet it keeps the punch nice and cold for a long time.

Dear Yoli,
Happy holidays to you too! Welcome to my blog!

Dear Cuban,
Happy Christmas to you and your family too!

Dear Julie,
Maybe you can use the freezer; that's what we have to do here in California.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Happy New Year!

Dear Relyn,
It's a creative idea isn't it?

Dear Castle,
It is magical, especially with the Nutcracker music!
Happy New Year!
