How can you not just smile! :) And guess what: I brought my gumball stand with me to The Netherlands, so I have an extra big smile right now. :D

Dear Kala,
It is indeed an amazing design.

Dear Susan,
Yes!

Dear Ruth,
Aptly put!

Dear California Girl,
Yes, I'm so sorry I failed to give the background information on Bouquets to Art. It is an annual fundraiser for the San Francisco Fine Arts Museums. Floral designers in the area are invited to interpret a work of art from the permanent collection of the De Young Museum. I'm glad you enjoyed this work.

Dear Yoli,
Thanks for visiting.

Dear Marilyn,
You must have had a great childhood :)

Hello Co-Thiebaud-lover Relyn,
Of all the years I've seen this painting interpreted during Bouquets to Art, this one is my favorite. It's just perfect.

Dear kath,
So glad!

Dear luluvillage,
Whoever chooses this painting to interpret must be filled with whimsy.

Dear margie,
I'm glad you and your sister came to visit.

Dear Ginnie,
I am smiling that you brought your gumball stand to Holland, especially because I saw one of the sculptures you did not bring there.

I am also smiling because I have two sets of sisters that visited this post: margie and kath, and you and Ruth.
