Yes, I'm pretty sure it was aloe vera. The store was closed; I simply had to stop and take the picture. I didn't notice until I was processing the photo that the yellow "outfit" was simply made of a long stream of fabric (paper?) held together with clips.
We didn't have time to taste the olive oil but those beautiful bottles with the light streaming through them were just begging to have their picture taken.
Dear Susan, No, it was not a city-wide theme. I was dumpster-diving through my photos trying to whomp up a quick post. I thought these three photos, taken in 2008, 2009, and 2010, had a common thread.
I'm convinced everyone can wear yellow, you just have to know which shade of yellow.
Yellow. I like the idea of doing a post on one color like this. You've inspired me! (again)
BTW, were you the one who told us about the Arcen castle and gardens? If so, you'll want to see the post I just put up because THAT'S where we went for my 65th birthday! It was worth every minute there! Thank you (if it was in fact you).

Yellow is happiness.
That window display with aloe vera (I think?) is simple and eye catching. The olive oil, mmm. Don't you just love good bottling?
Was this a city-wide theme? Yellow is one of my favorite colors...too bad I can't wear it. :(
Love the hardware store display!
Dear Ruth,
I think yellow is an underrated color.

I noticed that nature especially wild flowers always have yellow colors..your stuffs here are so beautiful!
That jug in the first photo with the sunflowers on it - I have one just like it!
Wow, those are vibrant yellow colors. Wonderfully photographed!
Dear Nature Lover,
You make a very good point here. Perhaps it's because bees see the color yellow best.
Dear Kala,
That's great; I bet iced tea looks great in that jug!
Dear Mumsy,
Thank you for your kind words.
