Happy Holidays

Wishing you all a happy holiday season.

I snapped these photos when I had lunch with my mother and sister at the always-elegant Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto.

Even though it's not cold here this Christmas day, this duet by Norah Jones and Willie Nelson reflects the spirit of the season perfectly.

I have been away then have been sick so I am behind again. I read your past posts and marveled at the quilts. My husband has kept all his ties – I was going to give them away but after looking at the tie quilt I may try to make one someday (when I have the time….)

Your post on the Galapagos was so informative and beautiful. That must have been such a great trip – a feast for the eyes for sure. Your first photo on your post on Happy Holidays is exquisite. Being in bed until yesterday I missed decorating the house this year. We are going to celebrate late, for New Year. I hope you have a great New Year.

I forget... and cannot check at the moment... do I owe you another email for after the holidays? Seems like there were additional questions for me to address... I swear the time got away from me this past month... had written a holiday post for my blog on Dec 22nd and finally got around to publishing it yesterday... HA!

Meanwhile... these images are gorgeous and very festive... once I'm home again I will try to remember to check my email so I can answer what is still pending. Happiest of Holidays (what's left) and best wishes for a stellar 2012!

Dear Vagabonde,
I'm so sorry you've been so ill.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my older posts. I hope you can carve out some time to make that tie quilt because I think it's a wonderful design.

The good thing about not decorating your house is that you don't have to take all down now.

I wish you a happy and healthy new year!

Dear London Caller,
Thank you, we had a delicious turkey with all the trimmings for Thanksgiving and a fantastic beef brisket for Christmas.

Happy New Year to you!

Dear Victoria,
Thanks for offering your help in selecting my next camera. My daughter is ready to take back her Canon Rebel. I wondered what brought you back to Nikon after using the Canon.

I wish you a year of adventure and joy!
